Elk Point-Jefferson take second place at 4th Annual Irene-Wakonda
The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies took the small town of Irene, SD by storm on Saturday, Aug. 26 2-sett ing their way through 4 matches to once again make it into the championship game. This was the 4th Annual Irene-Wakonda “I Have A Dream” volleyball tournament. The Huskies were the reigning champions for the last three years.
Units called to Walmart fire
On Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 2:26 p.m. units were dispatched to a report of fire inside the Walmart building at 1207 Princeton St. in Vermillion. Upon arrival on scene, the command of f icer repor ted nothing showing from the building, and the evacuation of occupants was in progress. Truhe to discuss social media issues at EPJ
Elk Point Jefferson Schools and Friends of the Library are hosting Bobby Truhe of KSB Law to speak with 6-8th and 9-12th grade students on digital citizenship and social media on Wednesday, Sept. 6 in the high school gym.
