Panthers run hard in fierce competition

Stiff competition was present at the Sioux Falls Christian cross country meet that Dakota Valley attended, on Sept. 12, at Yankton Trails. Larger schools and fierce competition led to a lot of personal records for many of the Panther runners.

Thanks to a Wynstone resident, one of the elderly in Honduras has been helped for the last 13 years.

The award ceremony was held in Sioux Falls during the Department’s annual veterans’ benefits training conference for county and tribal veterans service officers (VSO).

Kual, Meyer reign over 2023 Dakota Valley Homecoming

Homecoming coronation for Dakota Valley was held in the Performing Arts Center on Monday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. The evening was hosted by freshmen Asher Pfiefer and Coryn Kimbell who served as the masters of ceremonies. Each high school grade performed a skit prior to the introductions of the 2023 homecoming court.

The lights shown bright as this year’s stars of Elk Point-Jefferson’s Homecoming took to the stage Monday, Sept. 11 for Coronation. Dressed up in their finest, they awaited the news of who would be crowned this year’s King and Queen.
