The North Sioux City Fire Department has recently added a new ladder truck to their fleet. The current ladder truck was built in 1997 is approximately 28 feet long and has a ladder that extends 75 feet. The suggested life span of a ladder truck is 20 years or as long as it passes all yearly inspections. Due to the age of the truck, a new ladder truck was built. The bid for the new truck was…
