SDDOT holds I-29 Corridor Study Open House

A public Open House was held Thursday, July 20 for those interested in an upcoming South Dakota Department of Transportation (DOT) project. A corridor study was conducted on Interstate 29, especially the on- and off-ramps for the exits into North Sioux City and Dakota Dunes.

Dooley announces resignation from Dakota Dunes CID

Jeff Dooley’s resignation was accepted after an executive session at the Dakota Dunes Community Improvement District (CID) Board of Supervisors meeting July 17. Dooley has been the District Manager of the CID for the last 23 years. His official resignation date is set for Sept. 1.

Learning the fundamentals of golf

Students of Elk Point-Jefferson have a rare ability to participate in a Junior Golf program every summer thanks to local volunteers. For the last 16 years Darrell Stone and Brian Wells have headed the Junior Golf program held at the Pointe Golf & Event Center on Mondays in June and July.
