Panther heavy hitters helped score big over Tornadoes

For the 1st full week of May, the Panther baseball team went 1-1 versus opponents on their home field. Defense and pitching were highlighted on Monday, May 5, 2025 as Dakota Valley fell to Vermillion 0-1. The bats heated back up on Thursday, May 8, 2025 as the Panthers won versus Centerville.

Better weather was finally sticking around for high school track and Dakota Valley was taking advantage of Mother Nature’s generosity. Personal records, season best times and top marks were garnered by the Panthers in the 1st full week of May.

Dakota Valley golfers compete well at Dell Rapids Invite

Freshman Katie Betsworth shot an outstanding round of golf to take 1st place, at the Dell Rapids Invite, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Betsworth secured a score of 77 to be just +5 over par. Her Dakota Valley teammates also had great games for the roster to finish high on the podium.

Grudge fest leads to major Panther win over Trojans

Dakota Valley took on the #1 West Central Trojans in softball on May 5, 2025 in a home game for the Panthers. With a nice crowd in the stands, DV came back in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs and 2 runners on base.
