Panthers fight close battle

It was a wet Friday Night Lights for the Dakota Valley Panthers as they travelled north to take on Sioux Falls Christian Chargers in a tough football game Sept. 9. It was a back and forth contest that came down to the 4th quarter when scores by the Chargers put the game out of reach. The road game was the first loss for the Panthers this season and the final score was 14-24.

Seussical – cast and crew at DV

The Dakota Valley cheer team travelled to Dell Rapids, SD for their first competition of the season Sept. 6. Dakota Valley Panthers dance to the top

Dancers from Dakota Valley took their talents to Yankton, SD to face off against a variety of bigger schools in what was a strong field. The competition took place Sept. 8 and the Panthers came home victorious. Dance takes 1st, cheer 4th

The Dakota Valley dance squad and competitive cheer team both travelled just over 200 miles to Winner, SD on Sept. 10 to showcase their routines in a multi-team tournament.

Panthers tie for 4th

The Dakota Valley boys varsity golf team took to the links at The Bluffs in Vermillion, SD on Sept. 8. In a field of 14, the squad earned a tie for 4th place with two Panthers medaling in the top 15. Dakota Valley ended the day with a team score of 341, just 16 strokes behind Vermillion’s 1st place finish.
