A double header for Elk Point-Jefferson Senior Legion baseball team meant double the victories on Tuesday, June 25. The Huskies battled Harrisburg and came out on top in both contests.

Father Joe Vogel celebrates retirement

An open house celebration at St. Peter’s Community Center was held for Father Joe Vogel on Sunday, June 30th. Vogel served as a priest for St. Peter’s in Jefferson, St. Teresa’s in Dakota Dunes and St. Joseph’s in Elk Point. The retirement open house happened from 2pm to 5pm with a program occurring at 3pm.
