Unrivaled Traditions Outdoors (UTO) has been providing various opportunities for local veterans since its inception in 2018. Recently, the American Legion Post 134 and the VFW each donated $500 to UTO to help sponsor three local veterans on a waterfowl hunting experience.

For one local Elk Point-Jefferson senior, he’s learning a different aspect of agriculture – the cleaning of small grain and seed and all that it entails.
Callaghan named December Rotary Club Student of the Month

Renae Callaghan, a senior at Bishop Heelan High School, has been selected as the December 2023 Rotary Club Student of the Month. She will be honored during the Rotary Club meeting on Monday, Dec. 4, 12 p.m. at the MidAmerican Energy Community Room.
