Dakota MasterWorks Senior Art Show seeks entrie

The South Dakota Health Care Association (SDHCA), First Interstate Bank, Legacy Healthcare and KELOLAND Media Group announce that entry forms are available for the 25th Annual SDHCA Dakota MasterWorks Art Show. The SDHCA Dakota MasterWorks Art Show is open to all South Dakota citizens age 60 and older.

First all-electric utility vehicle introduced

Watertown-based Terex Utilities has introduced the first all-electric bucket truck manufactured in the U.S. Initially, the trucks will be used by nine Terex customers, including utility company Xcel Energy, which does business in eight Midwestern and western states, including South Dakota, Minnesota and North Dakota.

Vietnam, Vietnam-era veterans receive pins

U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson hosted a Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Pinning Ceremony Monday, Aug. 1 at Veterans Centennial Park in North Sioux City. Several members of Two Rivers Post 319 received commemorative Vietnam Veterans pins and also were coined by Johnson with a special House of Representatives coin with the South Dakota seal.

Farewell, Susan

Susan Odson passed away Monday evening, Aug. 1, 2022 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton following a six month battle with pancreatic cancer.
