Veterans honored with Christmas wreaths

The North Sioux City Two Rivers American Legion Post 319 members honored veterans buried at the McCook Cemetery and Civil Bend Cemetery Saturday, Dec. 16. The legion members did this by placing approximately 110 Christmas wreaths at gravesites.

Mental health is important, especially this holiday season

At some point, the stress of the holidays can get to everyone. Whether it’s all the shopping for gifts, holiday baking, travelling or sometimes even the stress of having the family altogether – the holidays can be overwhelming for some individuals. Annual Lutefisk dinner comes back full blast

After having to cancel the last couple years of the Annual Meatball and Lutefisk Dinner, the St. Paul Lutheran Church was able to celebrate the tradition once again. On Dec. 9, the church brought back the tradition after a hiatuses stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
