Dunes Blvd remains 35 mph

Dakota Dunes residents were notified this week that the speed limit on Dakota Dunes Boulevard will remain 35 mph, following more than a year of review by the Dakota Dunes Community Improvement District and the Union County Sheriff’s Office. Johnson meets DV students for Q&A

Dakota Valley high schoolers gathered in the Panther theater room on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 to participate in a question and answer session with South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson. An estimated 75 pupils, mostly upperclassmen, were in attendance. All members of Dakota Valley’s student council organization were onhand.

The culmination of a ton of hard work in the regular season all came to a head for the Elk Point-Jefferson wrestling team as they hosted girls and boys regional contests for 2026. Region 2B brackets for the girls competed on Thursday, February 19, 2026 and the boys hit the mats on February 21, 2026.
