Families and neighbors gathered at Elk Point City Park on Aug. 4 for the community’s first National Night Out, an evening of food, games and police‑community engagement hosted by the Elk Point Police Department. The event featured burgers and hot dogs, a dunk tank, slip‑and‑slide, bouncy house and other activities as officers thanked residents for helping make the inaugural celebration a success.
