Voters flocked to the North Sioux City (NSC) community center and fire hall for a big municipal election on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Seats on a five-member commission were to be determined as the city turned a corner to elect a new mayor plus four commissioners.

On April 8, 2025, Tory Norby won the Elk Point-Jefferson School Board Election with 189 votes, defeating Elijah Vander Weerdt, who received 45 votes.
