Two matches during a busy week of homecoming equaled double the victories for the Dakota Valley varsity volleyball team. The roster took care of business against Tri-Valley (TV) on September 2, 2025 and repeated the winning trend against Elk Point-Jefferson on September 4, 2025.

The beauty of Adams Nature Preserve was on full display as hundreds of cross country runners converged on the state park, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, for the Dakota Valley Invite. Competition from South Dakota and Iowa were there and the Panthers performed well.

Homecoming brought a busy week of golf for Dakota Valley as the boys varsity squad hit the links for 2 different meets to start the month of September. On Tuesday, September 2, 2025 the Panthers were up north at the Spring Creek Golf Course for the Sioux Falls Christian (SFC) Invite.

The Panther boys soccer team had an exciting match on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 that ended in a stalemate. Dakota Valley hosted the West Central Trojans and both squads were looking for their 1st win in 2025. However, the battle between the 2 rosters ended in a 1-1 tie.

The Huskies traveled a few miles to the south on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 for an away cross country meet at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve. The races were hosted by Dakota Valley and offered a different environment for runners who typically compete on golf courses.

Friday Night Lights opened for the Dakota Valley varsity football team, at home, on August 29, 2025. They faced a fierce opponent in Dell Rapids (DR) who ended the Panther’s run in the 2024 postseason by handing them a quarterfinal loss.

The Panthers were off and running at Beresford on Thursday, August 28, 2025 to kickstart the cross country season. A hilly course and warm weather conditions were present at Bridges Golf Course which hosted the race in Beresford.

Dell Rapids was the destination for the Dakota Valley boys golf team on Monday, August 25, 2025. It was a full field of competition and the Panthers came home as runnerups. They were just 3 shots behind 1st place Aberdeen Roncalli. Dakota Valley finished 1 stroke ahead of conference and region rival Vermillion who took 3rd.

Volleyball started with a clean sweep for the Panther varsity squad on August 28, 2025. In their home opener, Dakota Valley barely allowed the Yankton Gazelles into double digits as they won in 3 quick sets.

An excellent crowd was in the stands to watch boys soccer as Dakota Valley went up against Freeman Academy on Monday, August 25, 2025. This was the Panther’s home opener and their 2nd game of the 2025 fall season. It was also already their 2nd match-up versus the Bobcats from Freeman, South Dakota.
