The Panther softball team traveled to Aberdeen on June 6-7, 2025 for their 3rd consecutive appearance in the Class A softball state tournament. Dakota Valley came into the tourney as a #3 seed and faced #6 Madison in their 1st round. During the regular season the 2 teams had met twice and each claimed a victory.
