The Elk Point-Jefferson girls volleyball team defeated two teams last week in tight contests. First up was Tea Area on Oct. 16 in Elk Point. The first set was close as the Huskies won it 26-24, but after that the Huskies kept up their momentum as the Tea Area Titans fell apart in the next 2 sets – 25-16, 25-14.
