Warren Maxwell Faber, 85, of Elk Point, South Dakota passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at his residence. Abiding his wishes, the cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Warren Faber was born January 9, 1939 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Maynard Fredrick Faber and Florence Pike.

Matthew G. Dennison of Elk Point, South Dakota, passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2024, after a courageous battle with bile duct cancer. Matt was born on November 13, 1957, to Casson L. and Joyce A. Dennison, in Sioux Falls, SD. His mother, Joyce, often referred to him as an “answered prayer” after losing their firstborn, Casson John, at just 6 months old. From a young age, he grew into a protector for his family, a trait he carried with him until he passed.

Virginia Ann Quam, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 on October 15, 2024, at a Vermillion Hospital. She was born on March 10, 1925, in Sioux City, IA, to Clifford and Cecilia Trudo. Virginia spent her formative years in Elk Point, SD, where she graduated from Elk Point High School.

Roger Dunn, 75, of Elk Point, SD passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 after a short cancer battle. The venerable Stew Huff, native of Sioux City, Iowa, born during the July 4th Holiday, 1940 to Wallace and Marion Huff, died due to a severe stroke suffered the Friday of our Labor Day holiday, 2024. Stew grew up in Sioux City, Iowa, attended Central High School, and then graduated from Wentworth Military Academy.
