Kathleen A. Brewer, 79, of Elk Point, South Dakota passed away on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 at Wellife Assisted Living in Elk Point with her daughter by her side.

Jeremy Jay Gunnels, 40, of North Sioux City, SD, passed away March 1, 2026. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Riverside Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be at a later date at Sharon Cemetery in Drexel, MO.

Glenn Philip Olson of Sioux City passed away February 26, 2026 at Westwood Specialty Care in Sioux City, Iowa. Visitation was 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Patrick J. Honner was born November 28, 1972, in Yankton, SD to Ron and Ei‑leen Honner. Pat graduated from Yankton High School in 1991 where he was ac‑tive in tennis, golf, choir, yearbook, and the school newspaper. He completed his secondary education at South Dakota State Univer‑sity with a Bachelor Degree in Microbiology and Clini‑cal Laboratory Science. He worked in the lab for a while at Unity Point St. Lukes before going back to school at the University of South Dakota to become a PA. Despite going to both state schools, he remained a Jackrabbit through and through.

Merle Strom, 73, of Elk Point, South Dakota, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at a local hospital. Merle James Strom was born on June 6, 1952, to Lyle and Judith (Johnson) Strom in Bloomfield, Nebraska.

Margaret Rose Ren (Stotz), 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Stevens on Feb. 13, 2026, with her daughters by her side.

Shirley Ann (Horton) Nelson, 84, Akron, Iowa passed away Saturday Feb‑ruary 7, 2026, at Akron Care Center Akron, Iowa. Memorial services were‑held at 2:00 P.M.

Myra Elaine Pesicka Honomichl passed away peacefully at the Bethesda Nursing Care Facility in Beresford, SD, on January 29, 2026. The Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Pointe in Elk Point.

Joanne A. Hatton, 89, of Spink, South Dakota passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Sanford Vermillion Care Center.
