DV participates in BIG Idea Competition

Sixteen high school finalists have advanced to the 2022 BIG Idea Final Competition. This high school business idea competition encourages students to consider new ideas and opportunities for creating a business in their own region. All students who submitted entries are invited to the Final Competition and Awards Ceremony held Dec. 6-7. The day will feature student pitches, educational booths, a discussion panel of entrepreneurs, and the awards.

New ladder truck will better serve communities

The North Sioux City Fire Department has recently added a new ladder truck to their fleet. The current ladder truck was built in 1997 is approximately 28 feet long and has a ladder that extends 75 feet.
