Six members of the North Sioux City Fire Department were awarded for Excellence in Training. Viktor Sundleaf, Adam Spates, Carter Matousek, Captain Tyler Kruse, Tim Bell and Captain Levi Saunders attended 100 percent of all trainings provided during 2022. -

The North Sioux City Fire Department held their annual Awards Banquet Dec. 10, 2022.
Awards were presented to Assistant Fire Chief Jim Christenson, Viktor Sundleaf, Adam Spates, Carter Matousek, Captain Tyler Kruse, Tim Bell and Captain Levi Saunders.
Christenson received a bronze statue of a firefighter for his 35 years of service to the North Sioux City Fire Department.
