The Dakota Valley Emergency Services District purchased a new ambulance and it is now housed inside the North Sioux City Fire Station. Top Left: The new ambualnce is equipped with a fridge for medications needing to stay cold and a warmer in order to warm blankets and IVs. A recent trip to Montreal, Canada was made to benefit the residents of the Dakota Valley Emergency Services District. North Sioux City Fire Chief Bill Pappas and Assistant Chief Jim Christenson travelled to Montreal to retrieve the newest asset to the district’s fleet – a new ambulance.
