The above picture was located in the City Council’s packet. It depicts large rocks placed in the city’s right-of-way along Alcoma Drive. Owner of the property, Matt Vanderpool stated the rocks were for landscaping purposes. The council was asked to declare the rocks a nuisance, however after discussion they decided to table the matter. Submitted photo
It was a full meeting for the North Sioux City Council Monday, Nov. 6 as they discussed multiple projects, property nuisances and sewer and garbage rate increases.
Kent Ode with HDR Engineering presented the council with an amendment to the pedestrian bike trail project in order to secure the acquisition of necessary easements and other real estate-related matters not to exceed $21,500.
