Members of the Women’s Wednesday Club joined forces with a Thrivent Action Team led by Cindy Schwier to host a food drive on Wednesday, Oct. 1. The event, sponsored by Thrivent Financial, gathered donations for the Elk Point Food Pantry and saw strong participation from club members. Boxes of nonperishable items were collected and delivered to support local families in need. Organizers said the drive was a meaningful way to give back and strengthen community ties.
