On April 8, 2024, the Alcester American Legion Post 86 celebrated it’s long time member, former Navy First Class Hospital Corpsman Charles “Chuck” Sundstrom for 72 years of membership in the American Legion. Sundstrom is a Korean War Veteran and served in the Navy from 1951-1955. While home on leave in 1954, his father-inlaw took him to the American Legion Post 86 meeting.
