The Elk Point-Jefferson Girl Scouts donated food and money to the Elk Point Food Pantry May 9. -
Thanks to the United States Postal Service’s Stamp Out Hunger program, the Elk Point Food Pantry received more shelf stable items to put on their shelves. The Elk Point Post Office and the North Sioux City Post Office both donated their collected items to the pantry. Submitted photos
Thanks to the United States Postal Service and the local Girl Scouts, the Elk Point Food Pantry has more items to stock on their shelves.
On May 9, the girl scouts donated money and food items to the pantry. They asked Tam Edgar to attend their meeting and talk about her work at the food pantry and how the food pantry benefits the community.
