On Sunday, Dec. 10, South Dakota experienced something from Mother Nature it doesn’t normally – an earthquake.

During the afternoon, the United States Geological Survey reported, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake occurred near Wakonda, SD.

The depth of the earthquake was about 8.3 km deep. According to the USGS, a 3.0 earthquake is normally when people begin to feel them.
