A 44-year-old Sioux City male has been charged in the attempted robbery of a North Sioux City bank on March 12.

Around 2:30 p.m., a man identified as Dennis John Manchester walked into Liberty National Bank, located at 113 Military Road, and handed the teller a note and brandished a weapon. The letter allegedly asked the teller to give Manchester money or he would hurt someone.
