Playing on their home golf course, Two Rivers in Dakota Dunes, the Panther girls golf team hosted the Dakota Valley (DV) Invite on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. It was a runner-up team finish for DV with a roster score of +46 over par. Sioux Falls Christian (SFC) claimed 1st place with a +29 finish. Vermillion took 3rd place at +56.

Dakota Valley boys baseball ended April with a tough loss, but started the month of May with a win as the spring varsity season continues to unfold in South Dakota. The Panthers were defeated by the Vermillion Tanagers on April 30, 2026 by a score of 3-10. On May 1, 2026 it was a 6-2 win for Dakota Valley (DV).

Panthers sweep Class AA foes at Sherman Park

A doubleheader in Sioux Falls, at Sherman Park, happened for the Dakota Valley softball team on May 1, 2026. They were playing against larger Class AA schools, but did not back down on their way to 2 wins.

Elk Point-Jefferson played a lot of baseball to end April and start the month of May. A doubleheader versus the Tri-County Sundogs happened on April 30, 2026. The match-up resulted in a pair of Husky wins. Tough games versus Scotland/Menno and Canton on May 2, 2026 had Elk Point-Jefferson (EPJ) on the losing side. Panthers post top scores in dual, shine at EPJ Invite

Golf swings were looking good for the Dakota Valley girls team on April 21, 2026 as they played well in their dual meet with Elk Point-Jefferson. Impressive scores were recorded by the Panthers. Sophomore Katie Betsworth shot 3 under par to lead her team. Claire Wiebelhaus had a 40 and Addicyn Sailer secured a 41. A 52 was shot by Skylar Anderson, Nicole Yang and Remy Probasco.

Panthers rack up wins, records in strong week on the track

Panther athletes competing. at the Canton Relays. on April 20, 2026 had great showings and multiple top finishes. Senior Claire Munch grabbed gold in the girls triple jump with a personal record mark that was over 38 feet. She also cleared 5-04 to be the best at the high jump on the day. More gold medals were also garnered by DV. In the boys 100m dash, senior Tatum Sorensen won in 11.47. Freshman Ava Squier defeated the field in the girls 100m dash with a 12.99.

Panthers compete hard in tough road game at Madison

Dakota Valley softball faced top-ranked Madison on Monday, April 20, 2026 in an away contest. The game went 7 innings, but had the Panthers on the losing end by a score of 3-9. Senior Annie Bourne started in the circle and had 2 strikeouts for DV. Junior Emma Barnett pitched in relief and also had 2 Ks.

A tough road game greeted Dakota Valley’s varsity baseball squad on April 21, 2026. Facing the Vermillion Tanagers, it would be an exciting contest. However, late runs by Vermillion had Dakota Valley (DV) suffering a loss 7-8.
