Marta Ann Keegan Verros Marta Ann Keegan Verros, 56, of Elk Point, SD, passed away after a long fight with cancer on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Marta was born October 15, 1967 in Kansas City, MO and was adopted by her loving parents, Kennth Patrick (Pat) and Mary Ann (Irons) Keegan.

Michael “Mike” James Hanson, 62, of Jefferson passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Jefferson, with Fr. Kevin Doyle officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Kober Funeral Homes.
