The regular meeting of the Jefferson City Council was held on September 9, 2024. The Women’s Wednesday Club is one of the oldest organized clubs in Elk Point and has continued as a literary club for 125 years. Preliminary work on a constitution was started in 1899 with seventeen women in the club.
