It was a slow start for the Panther football team on Friday, September 20, at home, as they trailed most of the game. However, in epic comeback fashion Dakota Valley had a strong 4th quarter to take the lead and garner a victory against Tri-Valley (TV) by a score of 21-14.

DV girls soccer get agressive against top ranked Groton

The Panther girls soccer team looked aggressive versus top ranked Groton on Tuesday, September 17. However, a late goal by the Tigers handed Dakota Valley a loss on the road by a score of 0-1.

Panther volleyball goes up against strong opponents

Dakota Valley took their undefeated varsity volleyball record on the road to Harrisburg on Tuesday, September 17. The Panthers knew they would see tough competition as the Tigers play in the larger Class AA for South Dakota and have a solid roster.

A long road trip on Tuesday, September 17 took the Panther boys soccer team to Groton. It would be a competitive contest. And despite falling 2-5 to the Tigers, Dakota Valley did a lot of great things on the field.

The Panthers ran at Yankton Trails, in Sioux Falls, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. It was hot and windy for the cross country meet that was hosted by Sioux Falls Christian. Despite the rough conditions, many Panthers managed to bring home top individual finishes.

Dakota Valley was 1 of 17 dance teams at the Dacotah Bank Center for competition, in Brookings, on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The Panthers faced larger Class AA schools and continued to shine in their pom and jazz performances.

Panther golfers shoot well at Sioux City North invite

The Dakota Valley boys varsity golf team took their talent across the river to Iowa in order to play at the Sioux City Country Club on September 16. They participated in the Sioux City North Invite and shot well on the links. The Panthers earned a team score of 310 and were overall champions of the meet.

Panther golfers continue to roll in the wins

With a terrific team score of 302, the Panther boys golf team outshot Vermillion by 5 strokes on September 9, 2024 on the Tanager’s home course. Dakota Valley claimed 1st place as a team at The Bluffs Golf Course. They continued their reign of excellence for the 2024 season.

Dakota Valley Panthers dominate Lakota Tech

The Panther football team had a long road trip for a quick game on September 13, 2024. Dakota Valley made their way to Lakota Tech for an away contest in the Black Hills. It was over 300 miles for DV, but they got a resounding victory. The team also got to play on Lakota Tech’s new, multimillion dollar football turf that showcased the school’s campus.
