Todd Michael Staum, age 61, of Paola, Kansas, passed away on July 5, 2025, after battling cancer. Todd passed at home surrounded by loved ones.

Dr. Curtiss Dean Farrell, 70, passed away on June 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Sahuarita, Arizona, where he had retired after many cherished years of work and family life in the Siouxland community.

William D. Kjose, 74, of Elk Point, South Dakota, passed away on June 12, 2025, at Mercy One Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.

Jannice Geraldine (Morin) Lee, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, was called home on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Surrounded by family, she made the journey to be with our Heavenly Father.

Travis Mitchell Jerred of Vermillion, SD died of natural causes at thirtythree years old on May 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Calvin Richard Jerred, Joanne Delores Jerred, Gerald Lee Spicer, and Betty Lou Spicer. He is loved and missed by his surviving family, including father Mark Jerred; mother Lori Jerred; brother Richard Jerred; sister Teramie (Andy) Hill; his niece Kadence Hill; and nephews Jackson Hill and Miles Hill, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Travis was born on July 15, 1991 as the youngest of all the children and grandchildren on both sides of his family. He grew up in Elk Point and Vermillion, SD and developed a deep love for history and sports. He enjoyed success on the football field playing for the Vermillion Tanagers and later returned as a volunteer coach on the team, where he assisted for the past three seasons, despite health issues that made it difficult for him to do so. He had a love for the game and mentoring students, and he had plans to eventually become a teacher.

Phyllis June (Twitchell) Limoges passed into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Holy Spirit Assisted Living in Sioux City, Iowa. Phyllis was the second of nine children born to Elmer and Marie (Allard) Twitchell on June 2, 1926, and she grew up on a farm 4 miles south of Elk Point, S.D.

Dale A. Chicoine, of Jefferson, SD, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Omaha, NE at the age of 88. Dale, the son of Gerard and Agnes (DeLaurier) Chicoine, was born on September 11, 1936, in Sioux City, IA.
