Dorris Lorraine Pace, 100 years and eight months, was born Dec. 6, 1921 to Peter and Grace (Jacobson) Jacobson in Plankinton, SD. She died Aug. 22, 2022 in Elk Point. She was the last of seven children raised on her mother and father’s farm in Plankinton. Her father died when she was a young girl and her mother and brothers worked the farm.
