COUNTY Highway Department Union County Highway Superintendent Jerry Buum presented the board with various matters. The board approved two applications from Clay Rural Water for permits within and/or across the right of way of Union County highways. The first application was to cross County Road (CR) #23 with a service line for 33135 480th Ave and the second to cross CR #23 at 47451 324th St.
A motion made at a March 7 meeting was voided after a discussion and an executive session at the Union County Board of County Commission meeting May 30.
