The home opener for Huskies football happened on Friday, August 22, 2025. The season started off excellent as Elk Point-Jefferson rolled over the Parker Pheasants by a score of 61-19.

Panther golfers tie for first in season opener

Two varsity golf meets occurred during the 1st week of school for the Panthers, which meant 2 different rosters represented Dakota Valley to commence the fall season. On August 19, 2025 the Panthers golfed at West Central and varsity had a great showing.

NSC OKs McCook Lake appraisals, bypass bid

New EPJ board member sworn in

The Elk Point-Jefferson Board of Education approved a $304,431 payment to Huff Construction, finalized its 2025–26 salary listings, and enacted several policy updates during its regular meeting and budget hearing held Aug. 11. The board also welcomed a new member and approved multiple personnel changes as the district prepares for the upcoming school year.
