Trunk or Treat held in NSC

The North Sioux City Parks & Recreation held their Trunk or Treat. Prizes were given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The 1st place winner was Para 911, 2nd Dr. Seuss and 3rd skeleton 4-wheeler. Over 250 children participated in the event held Oct. 30 at North Sioux City City Hall parking lot.

The Prairie Bend cul-de-sac Halloween Decor

Halloween decorating and scarecrows on mailboxes are an annual tradition on the Prairie Bend cul-de-sac in the Meadows neighborhood of Dakota Dunes. Cross takes 9th at state

October 22 was the South Dakota High School State Cross Country meet in Huron. With warm and breezy weather conditions, the Huskies two runners – Joe Cross and Ashley Stark – were anticipating a fun day for racing.
