Dakota Valley runners compete in hot conditions

Hot conditions and an elevated course was what met the Panther cross country team on Tuesday, September 10 in Canton. Dakota Valley performed well as many runners, from multiple teams, withdrew or had to drop as the races progressed.

Panther dancers have another strong performance

Dakota Valley’s dance team put in the miles this past week with competitions in Yankton and Winner. The squad was in Gazelle’s territory on September 12 and then in Winner on September 14, 2024. The time on the road was well worth it, as the Panthers continued to impress in their jazz and pom routines.

Huskies stay competitive through challenging course, conditions

Hot temperatures were in full force on Tuesday, September 10 as the Elk Point-Jefferson cross country team ran a hilly course in Canton. Despite the heat and elevations, the Huskies ran hard and showed great effort in all of their 5,000 meter runs.

EPJ Huskies slam competition win both matches

Fresh off their tournament championship, at Irene-Wakonda on September 7, the Huskies took that momentum up against West Central (WC) and came out victorious on Tuesday, September 10. Elk Point-Jefferson bested the Trojans by 3 sets to 1 in a great win.

Husky golfers play tough course, competition

The Huskies golf team gathered in Vermillion, on Monday, September 9th, to take on area schools at The Bluffs Golf Course for 18 holes of competition. Elk Point-Jefferson placed 5th in team scoring for the varsity golf meet at a +61.
