It was “Thursday Night Lights” for the Panther football squad on Oct. 19 as they took on a fierce Quarrier team in Dell Rapids. Despite matching their opponent in 1st downs, 12 for each team, Dakota Valley fell 18-52.
The game started rough when Dell Rapids returned the Panther’s kickoff for a 97-yard touchdown (TD). It was 4 and out for DV on their 1st chance at offense.
