The EPJ football team came home after 2 road games to host the Sisseton Redmen Sept. 4 and gave Husky fans a lot to cheer about with a 37-16 win.

Things didn’t look so good to start the game, as EPJ couldn’t move the ball and had to punt. Sisseton put the ball in the air over and over again to drive down the field to take a 6-0 lead.

But when EPJ got the ball back, their offense started to click. Tyler Goehring had 2 spectacular catches, including the 1 that tied the game after the 2-point conversion.

“On offense, after our first drive, we really settled in and were able to run the ball very well,” head coach Jake Terry said. “Guys did a great job with the wrinkles we added this week and were able to get some nice plays.”
