At the end of the battle, Schmiedt finished 1st, with Cross 2nd. Jackson Prouty also placed in the medals finishing 17th. Dakota Valley won the boys team event.
The girls varsity 5k race was dominated by Vermillion, who took the top 3 places. Taeli Barta continued her successful season placing 1st. The Husky girls earned 3 medals, led by Claire LaFerrier in 11th, Ella LaFerrier in 14th and Heather Stark in 18th. Vermillion won the team event with a near perfect score.
