The Elk Point-Jefferson track team qualified athletes to the prestigious Howard Wood meet in Sioux Falls May 6 and 7. Athletes included Jackson Prouty (4x800m relay), Alex Scarmon (4x800m relay), Grayson Girard (4x800m relay), Joe Cross (4x800m relay, 3200m, 1600m), Jakob Scarmon (high jump), Jacob Lichtenberg (discus), Ben Swatek (4x200m relay, 4x100m relay, javelin), Kayden Moore (4x200m relay), Hunter Geary (4x200m relay, 4x100m relay), Garrett Merkley (4x200m relay, 4x100m relay, triple jump), Cera Schmitz (4x200m relay, 4x100m relay), Lauren McDermott (4x200m relay, 4x100m relay, 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles), Kaitlyn VanRoekel (4x200m relay, 4x100m relay), Alyssa Chytka (4x200m relay, 4x100m relay, 100m), Josie Curry (javelin, discus), Grace Peed (shot put), Lucas Hueser (4x100m), and Noah McDermott (javelin).

Many athletes achieved personal bests, including Josie Curry who finished on the podium in the javelin in 7th place throwing a personal best of 113-04, Ben Swatek placing 4th and finishing on the podium throwing a personal best of 160-05 and Joe Cross, who broke the school record in the 3200m in 9:56.12.
