The Elk Point-Jefferson 16U softball team schooled Viborg-Hurley in a home game July 7, winning 16-6 in just 4 innings.

Again, the Huskies scored a lot of runs off only a few hits, 6 total. They drew 14 walks and 3 Huskies had multiple stolen bases; Sophia Giorgio had 3 and Grace Schuh and Alyssa Chytka 2 each.

EPJ’s 5 RBI came from Giorgio, Schuh, Alicen Colt, Julie Sundheim and Jezmarie Stultz-Praster.

Danica Torrez got the win, giving up 3 earned runs with 6 strike-outs and 8 walks.
