The Huskies hosted Irene-Wakonda in the last home match of the season and won in 4 games – 25-14, 18-25, 25-22, 25-17.

The first game was an easy win, as the Eagle servers were the most inconsistent of any team EPJ has seen so far this year. They gave up most of the points that way.

They turned it around in game 2 and suddenly started putting down ace after ace to build a 10 point lead. Despite 2 timeouts from head coach Erin Ellinger, EPJ could not overcome that deficit.

Game 3 started out much the same, with the Huskies down by 5 points, before EPJ took charge and tied it up at 16. It stayed a 1 to 2 point game until 22-all, when Dannica Torrez put down a couple of kills.
