The Dakota Valley boys took up where the girls finished, rolling to a 92-51 win over West Sioux. The Falcons won last year 86-73 led by current-Iowa State backup quarterback Hunter Dekkers.

The Panthers maximized every minute. Isaac Bruns got two in the last second of the first quarter to reach 13 of his 30 points for the game. He had been averaging 22. In the last play of the second quarter, Randy Rosenquist passed to Jaxson Wingert for the basket for a 50-29 halftime lead.

Throughout the game, there were many contributors. With just over 5 minutes left, head coach Jason Kleis emptied the bench to develop more depth as key conference games are on the horizon.

Alex Zephier had a career high of 21 points, Wingert hit double figures with 10 and Paul Bruns had 22. Randy Rosenquist had 7 assists and Chayce Montagne 6.

DV remains undefeated while West Sioux drops to 7-5.
