The girls basketball team used a combination of muscle and speed to beat the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies Feb. 6.
The game was tight through the 1st quarter, with the Panthers holding a 17-14 lead. that’s when Rylee Rosenquist took over, hitting back-to-back 3s to break the game open. DV played a really tight man-to-man defense that led to breakaway layups to add to the lead. EPJ tried to work the ball inside, but had to settle for long jumpshots. The Huskies were held to 8 points in the 2nd quarter and DV had a comfortable 33-25 lead at half.
