The Dakota Valley Panthers are back on the prowl at the Class A State Tournament for a win over defending champion Sioux Falls Christian. They return to the tournament after their SoDak s16 win over Lakota Tech in Beresford, Nov. 9. The Panthers won in three easy games – 25-6, 25-10, 25-17.

Leading the team in kills was Jorja VanDenHul with 13, followed by Sophie Tuttle with 12. Logan Miller had 46 assists and an ace. Reagan VanRooyan led the team with 2 aces. Kate VanRooyan had 9 digs.

The Class A State Tournament will be played Nov. 18-20 in Rapid City. Dakota Valley will go in as the number 3 seed and play number 6 Hamlin, Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. Mountain Time.
