Sioux Falls Christian hosted the DAK-12 Conference Volleyball Tournament Saturday, Oct. 17 where Dakota Valley was paired against Tea Area. For the second time last week, Dakota Valley dominated the floor, winning in three – 25-9; 25-18; 25-12. Assistant coach Lonnie Bermel commended the girls on a strong serving game with 58 over the net serves, 5 aces and only 6 errors.
“We played very well,” Bermel said. “We served at a very high level. I was very happy that the team implemented some of the techniques which were taught during practice last week. We are working on the finer points and mechanics of the game now.”
The Panthers were helped along by 30 assists from Logan Miller, 11 kills and 13 digs by Rachel Rosenquist and 17 digs by Taylor Wilshire.
