Peyton Tritz had a great night in Dell Rapids, Feb. 12. She scored her career-high points in a game – 24. Tritz also added 4 steals, 3 rebounds and an assist to her stats.
Tritz was 50 percent from beyond the arc, 57 percent from the field and 50 percent from the line.
Tritz tied with Rylee Rosenquist who also had 24 points. Rylee also pulled down 9 rebounds, had 8 assists and 4 steals.
Dakota Valley brought out their A game against Dell Rapids, winning 78-33. There was only one quarter that the Panthers allowed the Quarriers to score more than 10 points. Otherwise, the Panthers left the Quarriers in single digits every quarter of the game.
“We were able to have some really good movement on offense this game and we played great defense,” head coach Tammy Lilly said. “Peyton Tritz had a career-high 24 points. Peyton and Rylee Rosenquist each had 24 points to lead the game. Rylee also had 9 rebounds and 8 assists, while Jorja VanDenHul brought down another 7 rebounds.”
The girls next game is at Madison Feb. 19 in a double-header with the boys.
