The Husky wrestlers hosted Viborg-Hurley Feb. 9 and got a commanding 76-6.

The EPJ boys basketball team started the game at Lennox Feb. 2 with a strong 1st quarter. Their press led to a number of Oriole turnovers and the teams were tied 8-8 going into the second quarter.


With the drop in COVID-19 cases in Union County and the Elk Point-Jefferson School District, the EPJ board felt comfortable loosening some of the restrictions they put in place to stop the spread of the virus. One change is no longer limiting the number of spectators at school events.

The EPJ boys ran into a Vermillion team that matched their speed and leaping ability, and took nearly twice as many shots. The result was a 31-point halftime deficit that the Huskies could not overcome.

The Husky girls hosted Vermillion Jan. 19 and stayed within striking range, but the Tanager press took its toll and EPJ lost 31-57.
