One wrong turn leads to another

The accident occurred Sunday, July 19 on 330th Street west of 476th Avenue, south of Elk Point. Guard troops were headed to the Austin Training Area south on 476th Street, but the DSB driver missed the turn. He parked on the side of 330th, the vehicle’s air suppression system engaged and the DSB rolled over into the steep ditch. According to Guard spokesperson Lt. Col. Tony Diess, no service members were in the vehicle at the time of the accident and no service members were injured.
